grainy memoirs of an island vacay.
A surprise trip to Paris – every gal’s dream, no? Apparently, not so much in Italy…
It’s somewhere i’ve always envisioned loving – because PARIS, plus doesn’t everyone imagine themselves prancing around the streets wearing fur coats; croissant in one hand your lover holding the other, speaking fluent french (year 10 standard, although I was complimented on my perfect “bonjour”) and immersing themselves in the ever so chic Parisian lifestyle. Well I did, and I nearly re-cut my fringe in a frenzy the night before to really get into character (cue Jane Birkin, Jeanne Damas, etcetera).
I won’t bore you with the details of how we got invited (off the street) to a penthouse terrace in the 7th Arr. (which over looked the area’s surroundings, Eiffel Tower and so on), and how we had a security scare which had us locked at the top of the Arc de Triomphe.
However, you can take a peek below, because if you didn’t capture it, it never happened – riiieght!?
Final thoughts: Paris Ç’est Magnifique. x
Oh Roma, you magical beauty. I liked you, a lot.
Saturated with character and history, Roma offers a mixture of serious and fun – the perfect balance for my curious eyes (cue textured walls, greenery and doorways a plenty).
From Trastevere we strolled, 68,227 steps to be exact.
(My) words can’t quite describe it, join in on our visual journey below.
For me, everything has beauty (insert Stef – “but Mad you’ve taken 35 photos in 100 metres”).
I hope this translates below.
